Our Company

Newquay Radiators and Exeter Radiators (and formerly Totnes Radiators) come together under the banner of radiator-repairs.co.uk. Our company has been established since 1982 and it is possibly one of the largest engine cooling system and climate control companies in the South West.

Our 2 workshops, one in Devon and one in Cornwall, are fully kitted out with remanufacturing equipment. The specialist machinery, coupled with the knowledge and experience of our technicians (over 100 years between them), enable us to pressure test, repair, rebuild or construct any type of radiator, oil cooler, intercooler, heat exchanger, heater and other such similar heating and cooling units.

We appreciate turnaround time for some industries is crucial and we aim to keep this to a minimum.

Our History

1982

1982 was the beginning of Newquay Radiators. Peter Mansell began by trading from home. It soon became apparent, however, that purpose made premises were needed.

1984

1984 Newquay Radiators moved on to the Roche Industrial Estate (now known as Victoria Business Park). Newquay Radiators has been running from the same premises ever since.

1993

1993 saw liquidation stock purchased from Totnes Radiators Ltd. Peter decided to set up a second workshop in Totnes, running the newly formed Totnes Radiators from leased premises on the Totnes Trading Estate.

2008

2008 saw a further expansion when Peter purchased closing stock from Serck Marston Radiators. Premises were leased on the Marsh Barton Trading Estate and trading as Exeter Radiators commenced. A move down the road to new premises in 2014 amalgamated the workshop and office under the same roof.

2015

In August 2015 Totnes Radiators combined forces with Exeter Radiators and is now run from the same premises as Exeter Radiators; on the Marsh Barton Trading Estate.

Our Depots

We have a depot in Exeter, Devon and one in Roche, Cornwall.

Each depot consists of a fully manned office and a fully equipped workshop. The workshops are kitted out with a large test tank, various items of re-manufacturing equipment and a spray booth.

Both depots are universal in the services they provide, the standards to which they work to and the efficiency in which they are carried out.

Areas We Cover

Our local customers are from the South West area, including Plymouth, Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset.

Our courier arrangements enable us to extend our services nationally. We’ve repaired radiators from John O’Groats, the Isles of Scilly, Wales, London and many towns, cities and rural villages in between!
